According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Kansas added the highest number of jobs to the private chemical manufacturing industry (547), followed by Illinois (403), and New York (366).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-2,297), followed by Texas (-957), and New Jersey (-539).
