According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, Pennsylvania added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (252), followed by Massachusetts (101), and New York (94).

On the other hand, Michigan added the least number of jobs (-160), followed by Wisconsin (-140), and Arizona (-79).
