According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2023, Pennsylvania added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (69), followed by Missouri (65), and Louisiana (50).

On the other hand, Indiana added the least number of jobs (-335), followed by Michigan (-95), and Tennessee (-79).
