According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2023, Indiana added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (161), followed by North Carolina (119), and Georgia (72).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-163), followed by New York (-144), and Ohio (-111).
