According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2023, Tennessee added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (304), followed by Wisconsin (166), and Ohio (120).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-374), followed by Indiana (-212), and Florida (-184).
