According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2021, Pennsylvania added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (442), followed by Ohio (262), and Michigan (244).

On the other hand, New Jersey added the least number of jobs (-67), followed by Louisiana (-30), and Iowa (-13).
