According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2022, West Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (465), followed by Texas (301), and Pennsylvania (258).

On the other hand, Ohio added the least number of jobs (-213), followed by Iowa (-85), and Arkansas (-60).
