According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2022, Alabama added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (232), followed by Indiana (192), and Pennsylvania (147).

On the other hand, Wisconsin added the least number of jobs (-133), followed by Ohio (-116), and California (-91).
