According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2022, Indiana added the highest number of jobs to the private primary metal manufacturing industry (484), followed by Kentucky (142), and Iowa (126).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-508), followed by Texas (-371), and Ohio (-352).
