According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 7% (sa) in September, 2013. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (21.4%), Yukon-Koyukuk (17.1%), and Northwest Arctic (16.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Juneau (4.4%), Sitka (4.5%), and Kodiak Island (4.7%).
