According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.5% (sa) in October, 2014. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (19.7%), Yukon-Koyukuk (15.9%), and Bethel (14%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (4.2%), Kodiak Island (4.3%), and Sitka (4.4%).
