According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.2% (sa) in September, 2015. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (18.7%), Yukon-Koyukuk (15.9%), and Northwest Arctic (14.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (2.6%), Aleutians West (2.9%), and Kodiak Island (3.5%).
