According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 4.3% (sa) in July, 2023. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (18.9%), Bethel (10.1%), and Northwest Arctic (8.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Bristol Bay (1%), Aleutians East (1.3%), and Skagway (2.1%).
