According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 9.5% (sa) in August, 2010. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cumberland (12.7%), Salem (11.6%), and Passaic (11.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (7.3%), Morris (7.4%), and Somerset (7.7%).
