According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 6.7% (sa) in August, 2021. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Atlantic (9.1%), Passaic (8.6%), and Essex (8.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (4.5%), Morris (5%), and Somerset (5.2%).
