Infant Mortality Rate (Per 1,000 Live Births) for African Countries in 2000

According to data from the World Bank, in 2000, among all African countries, Liberia had the highest infant mortality rate per 1,000 live births in Africa (123.9), followed by Sierra Leone (123.4), and South Sudan (118.5). On the other hand, Seychelles had the lowest infant mortality rate in Africa (11.8).
