Infant Mortality Rate (Per 1,000 Live Births) for African Countries in 2003

According to data from the World Bank, in 2003, among all African countries, Sierra Leone had the highest infant mortality rate per 1,000 live births in Africa (115.4), followed by South Sudan (105.1), and Somalia (104.3). On the other hand, Seychelles had the lowest infant mortality rate in Africa (12).
