Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2010, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 875,795 and represented 10.05% of the total Illinois citizen voting-age population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (912.31K), followed by St. Clair (54.44K), and Will (47.14K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (32.71%), followed by Pulaski (30.22%), and St. Clair (27.87%).
