Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2010, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Illinois was 1,222,435 and represented 10.38% of the total Illinois citizen population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (1.27M), followed by St. Clair (79.86K), and Will (69.41K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (35.37%), followed by Pulaski (33.00%), and St. Clair (30.29%).
