Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 998,375 and represented 10.92% of the total Illinois citizen voting-age population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (895.71K), followed by Will (59.23K), and St. Clair (54.18K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (31.67%), followed by Pulaski (30.69%), and St. Clair (27.92%).
