Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 993,790 and represented 10.95% of the total Illinois citizen voting-age population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (878.03K), followed by Will (59.88K), and St. Clair (53.09K).

In terms of percentages, Pulaski had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (31.76%), followed by Alexander (30.38%), and St. Clair (27.61%).
