Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 990,635 and represented 10.85% of the total Illinois citizen voting-age population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (904.96K), followed by Will (58.46K), and St. Clair (55.55K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (31.60%), followed by Pulaski (30.12%), and St. Clair (28.63%).
