Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 889,640 and represented 10.14% of the total Illinois citizen voting-age population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (909.96K), followed by St. Clair (55.21K), and Will (48.66K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (33.33%), followed by Pulaski (31.20%), and St. Clair (28.08%).
