Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Kansas was 1,245,335 and represented 45.65% of the total Kansas citizen population.

Among all Kansas counties, Sedgwick had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (42.23K), followed by Wyandotte (39.33K), and Johnson (20.34K).

In terms of percentages, Wyandotte had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (28.12%), followed by Geary (17.83%), and Sedgwick (8.92%).
