Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for New Mexico was 1,245,335 and represented 64.82% of the total New Mexico citizen population.

Among all New Mexico counties, Bernalillo had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (15.61K), followed by Do�a Ana (2.85K), and Curry (2.78K).

In terms of percentages, Curry had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (6.19%), followed by Lea (4.00%), and Otero (3.74%).
