Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for New Mexico was 1,311,185 and represented 65.32% of the total New Mexico citizen population.

Among all New Mexico counties, Bernalillo had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (16.17K), followed by Do�a Ana (2.76K), and Sandoval (2.52K).

In terms of percentages, Curry had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (5.09%), followed by Lea (3.90%), and Otero (3.60%).
