Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 902,495 and represented 10.23% of the total Illinois citizen voting-age population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (912.80K), followed by St. Clair (56.01K), and Will (49.43K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (32.48%), followed by Pulaski (31.76%), and St. Clair (28.30%).
