Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2013, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 913,605 and represented 10.28% of the total Illinois citizen voting-age population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (913.55K), followed by St. Clair (56.13K), and Will (50.67K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (33.03%), followed by Pulaski (32.06%), and St. Clair (28.21%).
