Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Indiana was 1,259,335 and represented 19.86% of the total Indiana citizen population.

Among all Indiana counties, Marion had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (240.29K), followed by Lake (122.38K), and Allen (41.24K).

In terms of percentages, Marion had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (27.87%), followed by Lake (25.64%), and St. Joseph (12.86%).
