Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Indiana was 1,303,064 and represented 19.75% of the total Indiana citizen population.

Among all Indiana counties, Marion had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (246.43K), followed by Lake (114.00K), and Allen (40.88K).

In terms of percentages, Marion had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (27.61%), followed by Lake (23.52%), and St. Joseph (12.24%).
