Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 925,430 and represented 10.35% of the total Illinois citizen voting-age population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (916.02K), followed by St. Clair (56.56K), and Will (52.19K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (33.22%), followed by Pulaski (32.16%), and St. Clair (28.40%).
