Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Illinois was 1,259,335 and represented 10.56% of the total Illinois citizen population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (1.23M), followed by St. Clair (80.08K), and Will (72.69K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (35.93%), followed by Pulaski (32.99%), and St. Clair (30.21%).
