Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Indiana was 1,266,075 and represented 19.88% of the total Indiana citizen population.

Among all Indiana counties, Marion had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (244.01K), followed by Lake (119.88K), and Allen (40.97K).

In terms of percentages, Marion had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (28.03%), followed by Lake (25.18%), and St. Joseph (12.79%).
