Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for South Carolina was 1,266,075 and represented 27.31% of the total South Carolina citizen population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Richland had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (180.22K), followed by Charleston (105.79K), and Greenville (85.31K).

In terms of percentages, Allendale had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (74.19%), followed by Williamsburg (65.82%), and Lee (63.08%).
