Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 935,440 and represented 10.42% of the total Illinois citizen voting-age population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (916.19K), followed by St. Clair (56.70K), and Will (53.47K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (32.22%), followed by Pulaski (31.66%), and St. Clair (28.47%).
