Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Illinois was 1,266,075 and represented 10.61% of the total Illinois citizen population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (1.22M), followed by St. Clair (79.42K), and Will (73.79K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (34.56%), followed by Pulaski (32.22%), and St. Clair (30.09%).
