Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for New Mexico was 1,271,600 and represented 65.07% of the total New Mexico citizen population.

Among all New Mexico counties, Bernalillo had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (16.70K), followed by Do�a Ana (2.93K), and Curry (2.86K).

In terms of percentages, Curry had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (6.00%), followed by Otero (3.70%), and Lea (3.58%).
