Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 945,515 and represented 10.50% of the total Illinois citizen voting-age population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (917.44K), followed by St. Clair (56.73K), and Will (54.38K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (31.55%), followed by Pulaski (31.46%), and St. Clair (28.55%).
