Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for New Mexico was 1,276,885 and represented 65.20% of the total New Mexico citizen population.

Among all New Mexico counties, Bernalillo had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (16.58K), followed by Do�a Ana (2.94K), and Curry (2.86K).

In terms of percentages, Curry had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (6.03%), followed by Lea (3.98%), and Otero (3.36%).
