Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the citizen voting-age population for Maryland was 4,248,700 and represented 70.86% of the total Maryland population.

Among all Maryland counties, Montgomery had the highest citizen voting-age population (653.50K), followed by Baltimore (607.62K), and Prince George's (595.15K).

In terms of percentages, Allegany had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (81.07%), followed by Garrett (80.52%), and Kent (80.52%).
