Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the citizen voting-age population for Vermont was 493,440 and represented 79.00% of the total Vermont population.

Among all Vermont counties, Chittenden had the highest citizen voting-age population (125.47K), followed by Rutland (48.27K), and Washington (46.57K).

In terms of percentages, Grand Isle had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (81.58%), followed by Rutland (80.88%), and Essex (80.74%).
