Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 952,790 and represented 10.54% of the total Illinois citizen voting-age population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (917.70K), followed by St. Clair (56.83K), and Will (55.36K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (32.35%), followed by Pulaski (31.41%), and St. Clair (28.69%).
