Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the citizen voting-age population for New Jersey was 6,117,615 and represented 68.88% of the total New Jersey population.

Among all New Jersey counties, Bergen had the highest citizen voting-age population (635.12K), followed by Middlesex (537.50K), and Essex (517.43K).

In terms of percentages, Cape May had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (80.26%), followed by Sussex (77.34%), and Hunterdon (76.37%).
