Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the citizen voting-age population for New Jersey was 6,395,960 and represented 69.02% of the total New Jersey population.

Among all New Jersey counties, Bergen had the highest citizen voting-age population (663.53K), followed by Middlesex (562.99K), and Essex (543.88K).

In terms of percentages, Cape May had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (80.31%), followed by Sussex (78.27%), and Warren (77.36%).
