Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the citizen voting-age population for New Jersey was 6,384,665 and represented 69.14% of the total New Jersey population.

Among all New Jersey counties, Bergen had the highest citizen voting-age population (656.41K), followed by Middlesex (566.24K), and Essex (548.66K).

In terms of percentages, Cape May had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (80.12%), followed by Sussex (78.25%), and Warren (77.40%).
