Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2020, the citizen voting-age population for New Jersey was 6,156,380 and represented 69.29% of the total New Jersey population.

Among all New Jersey counties, Bergen had the highest citizen voting-age population (641.50K), followed by Middlesex (545.29K), and Essex (519.02K).

In terms of percentages, Cape May had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (80.39%), followed by Sussex (78.22%), and Warren (77.25%).
