Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 960,075 and represented 10.60% of the total Illinois citizen voting-age population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (914.04K), followed by St. Clair (57.13K), and Will (56.34K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (32.28%), followed by Pulaski (30.66%), and St. Clair (28.95%).
