According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2013, the number of deaths for New Jersey was 72,450. Bergen County had the highest number of deaths (7,329), followed by Ocean County (7,175), and Middlesex County (5,827). On the other hand, Salem County had the lowest number of deaths (716), followed by Hunterdon County (870), and Warren County (1,005).
