Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 32,622 people that identified as Hispanic Black or African American alone in South Carolina and they represented 0.62% of the total population of South Carolina in 2022. Richland County had the highest number of Hispanic Black or African American alone population (4,450), followed by Greenville County (3,768), and Lexington County (1,932). On the other hand, McCormick County had the lowest number of Hispanic Black or African American alone (25), followed by Allendale County (61), and Abbeville County (63).
