Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 32,660 people that identified as Hispanic Black or African American alone in South Carolina and they represented 0.64% of the total population of South Carolina in 2020. Richland County had the highest number of Hispanic Black or African American alone population (4,974), followed by Greenville County (3,768), and Charleston County (2,432). On the other hand, McCormick County had the lowest number of Hispanic Black or African American alone (20), followed by Bamberg County (35), and Allendale County (49).
